Veneers are conservative restorations placed on the front teeth to correct discoloration, gaps, shape or position. Resin veneers require little or no grinding of the anterior surface of the teeth and the “building” of the natural tooth with composite resin, in color and shape of our choice. Usually, the duration of treatment is 1 to 2 appointments.
Porcelain veneers require the removal of part of the front surface of the teeth and its replacement with temporary veneers, until the dental laboratory makes the final veneers. The porcelain veneers are then permanently glued to the anterior surface of the teeth. The process usually takes a few weeks.
